Agronomy Account Manager

Malden, IL

The Agronomy Account Manager (AAM) builds and maintains positive relationships with member owners resulting in the sales of fertilizers, chemicals, and seed while improving our members financial success. The AAM will also conduct on farm sales calls to analyze farmer needs as well as taking on some operational responsibilities during the spring and fall agronomy seasons. The AAM enables growers to utilize Northern Partners Cooperative services and products to enhance their profitability and satisfaction.

Applicants should have 2-3 years operating agronomy equipment – sprayers, spreaders, floaters, and applicators.

The Agronomy Applicator & Maintenance Technician position is responsible for plant maintenance for Northern Partners Cooperative and any operational type procedures. They will perform essential maintenance functions to uphold Northern Partners Cooperative’s equipment at locations as well as offer outstanding customer service that will optimize the cooperative’s market share and savings, improve the cooperative’s efficiency, and help achieve the cooperative’s mission and goals. Additional responsibilities would include custom application to include (Custom Applications of Chemicals and Liquid Fertilizer, Dry Fertilizer and or Custom Application of Anhydrous Ammonia). Implements, promotes, and supports the agronomy program of the local branch by precisely blending and custom-applying fertilizers and crop protection products based on knowledge, maps, recommendations, and label directions. Also performs functions that may include maintenance of equipment, plant, rolling stock, operation of forklifts, loaders, operating tender trucks, filling and delivering NH3 tanks, loading customers’ vehicles with product, unloading of deliveries and other duties as required. Required licensing also needed to operate equipment (applicator equipment and machinery, shop tools, forklifts, class A and B trucks).

Grain Operations & Maintenance Technician

Van Orin, IL

The Grain Operations and Maintenance Technician is responsible for plant maintenance for Northern Partners Cooperative grain elevator and any operational type procedures. Responsible for grain handling including incoming, stored, and outgoing grain. Maintains the grain quality, blending, and providing grain drying services. Responsible for the housekeeping generally involved with the handling of grain. Responsible for compliance with OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations and maintenance and professional appearance of equipment, rolling stock and facilities. Provides professional customer service that results in a pleasant experience for customers.

Seed Location Manager

SeedLink Facility - Utica, IL

The Seed Location Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operations related to seed production, storage, and distribution at our company’s seed location as well as sales, profitability, pricing, programs, and supply and vendor management. Manage a team of employees, ensuring that seed production processes are carried out efficiently, and quality standards are met. Additionally, this position will be tasked with maintaining inventory levels, coordinating shipments, and implementing safety protocols to guarantee a smooth and safe working environment. The Seed Location Manager will support in developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives for seeds and precision agriculture technologies. This role involves managing and cultivating relationships with patrons and driving revenue growth in the agricultural sector. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of seed products, precision farming technologies, and the agricultural market. Oversee the strategic direction of the seed department and manage the SeedLink location along with the Agronomy Operations & Sales Director. Work closely with the Agronomy Division to create a  seamless customer experience.
